We offer a weaving course  with an italian flavour, and we hope you will go home not only with the skills of weaving, but with a true taste of north Italy.

The Kandinskij Centre of Applied Art is one of the most important centres of Northern Italy for study and research in artistical handicrafts. The centre is equipped with a large handweaving workshop where there are various handlooms that allow to develop different weaving techniques. The Centre avails itself of the two weaving-teachers Lidia Miotto e Marina Fornaro, who were trained by one of the most important Italian weavers, Paola Besana in Milan

The Teachers - Lidia Miotto began  her career as fashion stylist and then, in 1993, began her interest in handweaving, followed closely,  over a long period, by her teacher. For her production, Lidia prefers natural yarns.

Marina Fornaro is an architect and then  studied to become a designer. When she discovered her vocation as hand-weaver, in 1998, she began to create garments and accessories both to wear and for the home.
